Everything about this guy is great- Chris Dodson is a total pro: he’s professional on the business side (great communication, arrives early, well prepared with song list); he’s exceptionally talented on the musician side (extensive repertoire of all the best songs that spans decades, and a voice that can sing them all so well you’ll swear they were written just for him); as a performer he has a stage presence that works as well for a crowd of 100+ (we saw him perform downtown Charleston) as it does for a small private party (we booked him for my parents 50th wedding anniversary cocktail hour).
About our experience: Chris nailed it! He knew exactly which songs to play and in what order to make the evening flow. The guests couldn’t get over how good he was. He was so good, in fact, that I had a hard time getting the guests over to dinner- they wanted to bring him with us.
Live music makes a party, and it doesn’t get any better than Chris Dodson … highly recommend!!!
